Our Mission

Our mission is to create music that offers connection, clarity, and hope. We write songs that speak honestly to the human experience, helping listeners feel seen and understood, especially during life’s more uncertain moments.

We care deeply about reaching specifically young women who are looking for something real. The world tells them a thousand different things about who they should be, but we want to be a voice that reminds them they are already enough. We aim to serve as positive role models by living authentically, leading with kindness, and showing that strength comes from vulnerability.​

As artists, we believe in offering more than entertainment. We believe in shining a light that exposes the ugly truths of the world and points to a way out. Life will always hold failure and doubt, but we want to give hope. Not false optimism, but the kind of hope that grows through honesty, compassion, and courage.

“Loner”

Written by Selena, this song is vulnerable and raw. Full of emotion and powerful vocals, this song will connect to the version of you that has some walls up. A karaoke song for the ages. 

 

“Baby Stay” 

One of our favorites, by far. An Olivia Lightyear original that soothes and surprises listeners with an inspiring blend of chord and melody and a wicked bass line that melts with the percussion like perfectly aged cheddar on a cracker. 

 

“And I Fall”

I would be lying if I said this song hasn’t made me tear up. Olivia knows how to get even the strong-hearted to get “dust in their eye”. The lyrics have that blend of self-awareness and honesty that settles deep into your soul and makes you realize things about your life you never noticed before. Kinda feels like a free therapy session but with stunning vocals and a rhythm section that’ll sooth you like a baby in a rocking chair.

 

“Breakfast at Midnight”

A fun song with dark notes that showcases the mystical harmony blend that makes Lightyear Sisters cooler than a popsicle. Inspired by late nights in high school with friends, the song has a nostalgic and excitable air to it.
